Entree No, Snack Yes ... July 3, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you like Taco Bell, these taste authentic. The only problem is the serving size. Even a light eater would call these a snack (or side) and not an entree. Which means they are somewhat expensive but still less than eating out. And we do pay for the convenience factor.
A LITTLE PRICEY April 9, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I like the taste of all the Taco Ball Entrees. I understand the other reviewers negative comments. The photo on the front does make you belive there is more meat. It is mostly beans and rice by volume. By weight the portions are probably equal. I like the fact that they don't have to be refrigerated. I usally get these when the are on sale. At around two dollars these are not a bargain. These would be great if priced under two because ultimately the product is tastey.
Where's the chicken? January 16, 2008 2 out of 5 found this review helpful
This tasted okay, about what you would expect from a fast food brand. I even ate the refried beans which looked a lot like something I wouldn't normally want to put in my mouth. However, there were only two tiny pieces of chicken which would have easily been lost had I not been searching for them. I love rice, but the dish is called "salsa chicken." Disappointing.
Not as pictured May 10, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
While the salsa and chicken had a nice flavor, there wasn't much of it. Contrary to the picture on the package, the contents are nearly half rice, a third refried beans, and a tiny portion of salsa and chicken. I would have given it another star if it had the large chucks of chicken, like the photo.
