keeping the habit August 24, 2008 Post Grape-Nut Flakes Cereal, 14-Ounce Box (Pack of 6) All the local stores suddenly stopped carrying Grape Nut Flakes. My husband was devastated. I was so glad to have found it again at Amazon. We subscribed to regular shipments and the first order came quickly. Husband's happy, I'm happy.

This is my favorite cereal. It's healthy, low in calories (Total, for example, has 3x the calories of this cereal) and low in sugar too. It has very few ingredients compared to other cereals. Best of all, its the cereal my doctor recommended because its good for people with tummy problems (like IBS or Post Infectious Dyspepsia). The only problem is that my local supermarket doesn't carry it, so I'm glad Amazon does!

I always liked Grape-Nuts Flakes better than Grape-Nuts. The regular Grape-Nuts are too much like chewing gravel to me. The flakes have a great nutty flavor. They do get soggy very quickly, though. Sometimes I like them that way. If you don't like soggy cereal, I recommend cutting the serving in half, eat the first half with milk, then add the second half to the remaining milk. Or just eat fast :)
