I first read about "flavor tripping" parties featuring miracle berries in the New York Times and had to try them. Funkyfoodshop sent them quickly. I invited some friends over and presented them with a table of sour delights--lemons, limes, grapefruits--and the tablets.
I began the proceedings by eating half a tablet, as recommended, and then bit into a lemon and as Borat would say--wowee, wow, wow! It was sweet as candy. The look of astonishment on my face inspired my guests to give it a try. The taste twists were really surpring. A glass of dry cabernet tasted unbelievably sweet. Others tried Guinness Stout and were raving about it. Without a doubt it was the most fun I had at one of my own parties in a long time.
