Great Product December 27, 2008 I bought this for my 12 year old. He reads at night and hates getting up to turn off the light. He loves it. He also loves it to go outside to feed the dogs at night. He thinks it is the greatest. It will light up an entire path in the woods or you can put it on a dimmer setting and read. Awesome purchase for us!
Walk the dog December 23, 2008 The Petzl light is a great headlamp with a beam that makes it easy for others to see me. Some draw backs to this product would be the ajustment direction........ when you atempt to change position of lamp the the case opens. I bought another one(different type) from a different vender and the cost was signifcantly less for as good if not better than this product.
Perfect for morning runs in the dark of winter... December 22, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Needed to change my running schedule to mornings, but I've got to deal with a few months of pitch black (and cold, but that's another story...). Tried my old, heavy headlamp, no good. Read a few good reviews of this one, and now I'm adding my name to the list. Incredibly lightweight, don't even know it's there. Excellent amount of light, and it's adjustable to three different brightnesses (though I do always use the brightest setting). Doesn't shine a mile ahead like a regular flashlight (which I sometimes carry also), but it's not designed for that. Puts the light on the road, where I need it. Easy on/off switch. Can also adjust the angle easily. Have used it in light rain, no problem, seems pretty weatherproof. I'm sure it would work for many uses, but for running, this one wins my race. Great headlamp. Highly recommended.
well built headlamp December 2, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I just received this rugged headlamp and it works as it is supposed. Nothing to complain. I tried to put it under water tap. It continued working. After half minute, I found water went into the battery box. Just wondering how it is called water-proof. If rain was big enough, the batteries could drain at a very fast rate. this is just my first headlamp, and continue to find some really waterproof stuff.
Great headlamp November 25, 2008 This little headlamps is small and extremely bright. I am truly impressed with its ruggedness.
