SHORT LIVED BOOK LIGHT June 20, 2008 I'VE PURCHASED A FEW BOOK LIGHTS BY MIGHT BRIGHT, AND THIS ONE'S BY FAR THE WORST. THE STEM IS TOO SHORT FOR MOST HARD COVER BOOKS, SO YOU'RE MOVING IT AROUND ALL THE TIME TO AIM IT. AND MINE (MAYBE WAS A LEMON) ONLY LASTED LESS THAN TEN HOURS---SEVERAL ZEROES LESS THAN THE 10,000 OR SO THEY PROMISE.
Terrific product! January 14, 2008 I ordered this light so I could read in bed occasionally without disturbing my tired husband's sleep, and it suits the purpose perfectly. The clip attaches easily to a book cover, the L.E.D. is bright enough to read by, and the flexible neck is easy to adjust so that the beam falls just where it's needed. Would probably make a great craft light as well.
great little light December 12, 2007 great light output, doesn't get hot and the battery lasts forever (almost). I bought more for myself and for Christmas gifts. They clip on to shelves, books, dorm room beds or stand on a table top. I use them for reading and doing crafts.
Awesome little light September 1, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I love this light.
My major use for it is for reading magazines while walking home from the train at night in the winter. It's light (in weight ;-) enough to do this, and the flexible neck gets the light where it needs to be. The beam is wide enough to cover the entire page comfortably.
The battery container doubles as a stand so it also serves as a bedside lamp while traveling.
It's happy with my rechargeable batteries.
I've tried several comparable lights and this unit is by far the best.
a mighty bright idea! (sheesh) June 9, 2007 this is a good product. so much better than the other LED reading lights i have tried. it's so good because you can adjust the neck and the light to the exact position that works for you. you can only do that with a flexible neck. the hinged types don't come close in adjustability. and the light is bright and clear, without shadows or overspill.
